Sophie is experienced in hospital operations and management. She has a strong track record of supporting clients to drive outpatient productivity, reduce long waiters, and resolve data quality issues.
Sophie was previously the national Programme Manager for Hospital Performance at Health New Zealand (the operational arm of the national health service). In this role, she was responsible for ensuring the country’s public hospitals operated as efficiently and effectively as possible, and met national cancer, elective, and acute care targets.
Sophie has been a Private Secretary to New Zealand Ministers of Health. She was also a Fulbright Scholar in Health Policy and Management, based in Washington D.C.
