Simon Curtis

Engagement and Delivery Manager

Simon is a successful IT service, project, and account management professional with nearly thirty years’ experience working across the software and service lifecycle delivering IT solutions to the Healthcare and Utilities sectors.

After completing a postgraduate degree in archaeology Simon’s IT career began with the support and development of applications for a Utilities provider – not quite the change of direction it may sound.

Since then, Simon has spent 20 years working closely with the NHS, primarily in relation to supporting or deploying Electronic Patient Records (EPRs) to Acute Hospital Trusts. His roles evolved from hands on technical support through Environment and Release Management, to managing and leading Projects and Programmes on behalf of NHS Trusts delivering clinical and operational transformation as well as, more recently, Digital Operating Model design. Simon has a particular passion for and has deep expertise in Service and Process Improvement and in Service Transition and Cutover Management, planning and leading Cutovers for several different EPR solutions. He has achieved expert certification in the ITIL Service Management Framework (V3 and V4).

Simon joined MBI in February 2026 to help lead on the delivery of our growing number of deployment projects.
