Piers is an Advisory Director at MBI Health, specialising in elective care recovery, operational performance, and NHS service transformation. Having worked as both a Chief Operating Officer and Director of Performance, he has led large-scale recovery programmes across acute and mental health providers, supporting organisations to improve RTT, cancer, and diagnostic pathways.
With a background in national and trust-level leadership, Piers has worked with NHS England, the Department of Health and Social Care, and the NHS Intensive Support Team (IST), shaping elective care strategies, data quality programmes, and operational improvement initiatives. He has also played a key role in urgent and emergency care recovery, leading flow and discharge improvements in acute hospital settings.
