From advisory roots to health tech leadership
MBI Health began with a vision: to harness digital innovation to improve patient care. Born from the early days of NHS digital transformation, our founders brought deep experience from frontline operations, EPR implementations, and strategic advisory roles. We saw the challenges. We knew the opportunities. And we built a company to act on both.
Growing capability through integration
By 2018, we brought together our advisory heritage with new strengths in managed services and technology. MBI Healthcare Technologies was formed, expanding our ability to support hospitals with real operational capacity and proven digital tools. In 2019, we launched LUNA, our AI-powered platform designed to turn messy healthcare data into meaningful action.
Scaling impact through innovation
LUNA rapidly gained traction, now trusted by over 20 NHS Trusts and forming the backbone of national data quality infrastructure. Alongside it, we have delivered over 40 EPR projects and advised on health strategies in multiple countries. In 2022, we joined DNV Group, a global leader in assurance, unlocking new potential through international reach and shared innovation.

In 2024, we became MBI Health, a name that reflects our maturity and market-leading position in hospital performance and patient safety. Today, we continue to combine advisory expertise, technology, and managed services to help healthcare systems work better, safer, and smarter.
